Bayern Munich Launches Football Academy in UAE
Bayern Munich launches a Dubai academy to develop UAE talent and connect young players with its global pathway.
FC Bayern Munich has launched a new football academy in Dubai, expanding the German club’s international youth development network into the UAE. Located at Amity University Dubai in Academic City, the FC Bayern Academy UAE will offer football programmes for boys and girls from Under-5 to Under-16, with training delivered according to the club’s youth development methodology.
The academy is operated by local partner GoldPrime FZCO under an FC Bayern licence, with a Bayern-appointed coach based at the academy year-round to oversee its coaching programme. Talented players will also have the opportunity to enter the FC Bayern Pathway and potentially progress to international development programmes, including the FC Bayern Global Academy at the club’s campus in Munich.
The Dubai launch marks Bayern’s first academy partnership of this kind in the Middle East, adding the UAE to a growing international youth development network that already includes programmes in Rwanda, China and the United States.
