Zamalek SC Announces Launch of International Academies in Saudi Arabia
Zamalek SC has signed an agreement with NBE International to launch football academies in Saudi Arabia.
Zamalek SC has partnered with NB International to establish football academies across Saudi Arabia, introducing the club’s training philosophy to one of the region’s fastest-growing sports markets.
Signed in the presence of NBE International representation including Mohamed ElWakkad and Zamalek Academies director Zeyad ElBaroudy, the agreement focuses on building structured youth development programs outside Egypt, giving young players in Saudi Arabia access to Zamalek’s football methodology and technical expertise.
The project signals a practical shift for the Cairo club, extending its focus beyond domestic competition into football education and youth infrastructure. By launching academies abroad, Zamalek is positioning itself not just as a football institution, but as a developer of talent capable of shaping future generations of players across the region.
For Zamalek president Hassan Labib and the club’s board, the move aligns with a broader effort to modernize the club’s football ecosystem and create long-term influence through player development rather than results alone.
